This year we hosted our very first Halloween party at our house. But let me tell you, Mr L and I are not party-throwing people, we're more the small dinner party sorts. But this year we were very social and threw a Halloween party for about 20 people and 5 kids... all squeezed into our lounge/dining room. I was planning for weeks, and by the time the party came around I was exhausted and nervous, but I can also say that I really enjoyed it (and yes... with all those guests attending, I cleaned the house, especially the bathroom, as best as I could). Would you like to see some party photos? Well, I'll share them just in case you'd like to see some Halloween decor (inspired by the Martha Stewart website of course) and some silly costumes.

Hi I love all your halloween decorations. The mice on the stairs look really good. What a great idea. I must say you look very beautifull as the ghost of (cant spell it!)antoinette.I would not need to put white make up on my face as it is so white! anyway! Looks like it was all really great fun.

The photos don't do the decor justice! It was an amazing party and I think it was just perfect. The house looked fantastic and very spooky - helped by some very spooky sound effects and music. The decorations were everywhere - I kept noticing new ones. Great details & perfect executuion (oo, I did a halloween-y joke there!). Well done to throwing your first, fabulous party and thank you for inviting my un-dead corpse along too, even if you didn't recognise me! :D
