My first award!

I am very pleased to have received my first blog award and it's a friendship award. It's from Debbie Moss over at Debbie's English Treasures. Thanks Debbie! Hmmm, the hard part is now I have to pass it on to 5 other people, so here goes. I can't really choose because all the blogs on my 'blogs I read' list are favourites of mine already. So this is a bit of a random pick, but here goes in particular order:

My friendship award goes on to (drum roll):

-Ivy at Little Ivy Cakes who shows step by step photos of the gorgeous food she cooks

-Steph at Glassy Goodies who makes beautiful fused glass art and blogs about all sorts of interesting things

- Lori at the Ellenay Designs blog whose jewellery blog is just so calming

- Lesley at Notes from my days who shares beautiful pictures of her home.

- And to the inspirational Blooming in Nihon Japan blog!

Awe, you are so good to me. :)

I MUST say that you are really one of the best blogs out in blog-world and I ALWAYS read every single word you write with anticipation. :)

P.S. I loved the kitchen post and appreciated the education on oven cleaners. I Usually program my oven to clean itself but soemtimes it needs more than that-you know, it's all that baking. :0

A note on perfection

Many of the posts featured on this blog are about doing household chores the correct, or so to say perfect way. My intention is not to make readers feel that the way they are running their households are wrong. So if making the bed, or ironing shirts in a certain way doesn't fit your lifestyle, do not feel guilty about it. But by learning the correct way of doing things it might just come in handy for those times when special guests are staying, or when you need to iron that shirt perfectly for a job interview. So enjoy the learning, but skip the guilt and LOVE your homes. x
